Meet Eleonora Manzoni

Eleonora Manzoni earned her Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Padova, Italy, in 2017, and her Master's degree in Bioengineering from the same institution in 2019, with top marks. In 2024, she successfully completed her PhD in Information Engineering, specializing in the Bioengineering curriculum, under the supervision of Prof. Simone Del Favero and Prof. Mirco Rampazzo at the University of Padova. Her doctoral thesis, titled "Model-Based Techniques for Safety-Critical Events Detection in Type 1 Diabetes Therapy", underscores her dedication to advancing healthcare solutions.

Throughout her doctoral studies, Eleonora engaged in several collaborative projects, including research at Harvard University focused on developing algorithms to detect unannounced physical activity in diabetic technologies. Additionally, she contributed to projects involving the modeling and control of clinical anesthesia and the modernization of a mock circulatory loop system.

With a solid academic background and a proven track record of interdisciplinary collaboration, Eleonora Manzoni is poised to make significant contributions to the field of biomedical engineering and improve patient outcomes in diabetes management.
