The research groups of the University Department of Diabetes, Endocrinology, Nutritional Medicine and Metabolism (UDEM) conduct scientific research projects in collaboration with scientists from other Departments of the Inselspital Bern, the University of Bern as well as national and international collaboration partners. In addition, the UDEM provides an important contribution to the training of medical students and scientists.
